Hi, good evening, I am a 4th year Arch. student from LPU-Cavite Campus. I have an ongoing research about fishport complex in San Pascual Batangas related to the future project of PFDA and Batangas based from the article posted on their site. I would like to ask for information or data of the following:

-Fishport Design and Planning Guidelines for Regional and Municipal
-Data on Batangas Contribution to Fisheries Sector
- Fish landing in Batangas, Specifically in the municipal of San Pascual 
-Any data regarding the PFDA and Batangas Future development collab
-Aquaculture industry of Batangas

Your Request

You asked for Research on the PFDA and Batangas future Development Collaboration.

Response to Request

Your FOI request is approved. 

Kindly be informed that as of April 12, 2023, the local government unit of Batangas, as endorsed by Governor Mandanas, has already transmitted documents to the PFDA which include a project proposal for the Establishment of Batangas Regional Fish Port Complex and accompanied Fisheries Profile of Batangas City. The said documents are now being evaluated and reviewed by the PFDA-Technical Services Department. 

Regarding your request on the planning and design guidelines, our Agency follows the structural standards of the Department of Public Works and Highways in the construction of our post-harvest facilities. 

However, your request on the contribution of Batangas to the fisheries sector and any information regarding the aquaculture of Batangas may be more appropriately answered by the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR). You may reach them through https://www.bfar.da.gov.ph/bfar-telephone-directory/. 

You may also contact the Office of the Provincial Agriculturist of Batangas through their contact number indicated in their website: https://www.batangas.gov.ph/portal/contact-us/.

Your right to request a review
