Dear NINA ELLA INOVERO,

Greetings!

Thank you for your request dated Sep 20, 2023 02:26:38 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

Your Request

You asked for Number of Expatriates in the Philippines segregated by Nationality/Race, Sex, Age, Marital Status.

Response to Request

Please be informed that the Philippine Retirement Authority only caters to foreign retirees (foreign nationals and former Filipinos) who chose the Philippines as their retirement destination through our product, the Special Resident Retirees Visa (SRRV). This being the mandate, PRA has no data on all the foreign nationals in the Philippines.

However, we can provide the total number of Special Resident Retiree’s Visa (SRRV) holders as of 30 June 2023 with the following parameters except for their marital status:

1.	Top 10 Nationalities;
2.	Per Age Bracket (upon application and current age); and
3.	Sex

Please see the attached statistics for your reference.

Your right to request a review

If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to the Department of Tourism Secretary, Ma. Esperanza Christina Garcia Frasco and send it through their email at osec@tourism.gov.ph. We will complete the review and tell you the result within 30 calendar days from the date when we receive your review request.

If you are not satisfied with the result of the review, you then have the right to appeal to the Office of the President under Administrative Order No. 22 (s. 2011).
