Greetings!

Thank you for your request dated Sep 16, 2021 08:06:34 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

Your Request

You asked for the following:

1.	Total no. of overseas retirees in Palawan
2.	Total no. of foreign retirees in Palawan
3.	Retiree Facilities in the Philippines

Response to your request

Your FOI request is approved. The answer to your request is attached in another file, except for the following:

1.	Total no. of overseas retirees in Palawan; and
2.	Retiree Facilities in the Philippines

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance, this Office does not have the information you have requested.

Please be informed that the Philippine Retirement Authority only caters to foreign retirees (foreign nationals and former Filipinos) who chose the Philippines as their retirement destination through our product, the Special Resident Retirees Visa (SRRV). 

Furthermore, statistics attached herewith is based on the date of coverage mentioned on your request, specifically, from January 2015 to January 2020 only.

Your right to request a review

If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to the Department of Tourism Secretary, Ma. Esperanza Christina Garcia Frasco and sent it through their email at osec@tourism.gov.ph. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter. We will complete the review and tell you the result within 30 calendar days from the date when we receive your review request.

If you are not satisfied with result of the review, you then have the right to appeal to the Office of the President under Administrative Order No. 22 (s. 2011).
