Response to your request

Your FOI request is approved. The answer to your request is attached in another file, except for the following:

1.	No. of Retirees per Municipality

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance, this Office does not have the information you have requested.

Statistics attached are based on the scope mentioned on your request, specifically, retirees in Region III with date of coverage from January 2018 to May 2020. 

Furthermore, please be informed that the Philippine Retirement Authority only caters to foreign retirees (foreign nationals and former Filipinos) who chose the Philippines as their retirement destination through our product, the Special Resident Retirees Visa (SRRV). 

Your right to request a review

If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to the Department of Tourism Secretary, Ma. Esperanza Christina Garcia Frasco and sent it through their email at osec@tourism.gov.ph.
