Greetings!

Thank you for your request dated January 17, 2023 under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

Your request
You asked for information on the following:
1. List of PPP Infrastructure projects within Negros Oriental; and
2. Details of the Return of Investments (ROI) of these projects.

Response to your request
Your request is partially approved.

We have reviewed our list of PPP projects in the pipeline and awarded PPP projects as of December 31, 2022 and we found that the Expansion of Water Lines, Reservoir and Source Water Project is the only PPP infrastructure project located in Negros Oriental. Below is the information on the said
project:

Project name: Expansion of Water Lines, Reservoir and Source Water Project
Implementing agency: Dumaguete City Water District (DCWD)
Project proponent: Metro Pacific Water Investments Corp (MPWIC)
Project description: The project covers the financing, rehabilitation, upgrading, operation, management and maintenance of DCWD's existing supply network, to improve the delivery of treated water to the population within the Service Area and to reduce the volume of non-revenue water.

Estimated project cost: 1 Billion pesos
Current status: Ongoing pre-construction activities as of December 2022; Notice of Award (NOA) was issued on May 2018
Kindly note that the database of awarded PPP projects does not cover all actual awarded PPP projects, as the PPP Center’s efforts to validate the same are ongoing (through contract review, coordination with implementing agencies, and project site visits).

Your right to request review
