Thank you for your request dated June 26, 2023 under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.
Your request
You asked for (1)the percentage of projects accomplished as of the month of May 2023 in line with the ongoing construction of the New Manila International Airport; and (2)a copy of the zoning map around the area, including the proposed Industrial and Commercial Zone adjacent to the airport.
Response to your request
Your FOI request is partially granted. The answer to your request is as of May 31, 2023, the New Manila International Airport (NMIA) project is still under the pre-construction stage with ongoing land development works. The project's total progress for the land development works is 60.10%. The following is the breakdown of activities:
· Site clearance: 97.00%;
· Land filling: 66.63%;
· PVD Installation: 57.84%; and
· Surcharge Removal: 13.99%.
While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, the PPP Center does not have a copy of the zoning map surrounding the NMIA project. We wish to refer you instead to the implementing agency of the project, the Department of Transportation (DOTr), which you may contact through the following details:
