I refer to my letter of Dec 14, 2022, 04:39:56 PM about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for data on recidivism of probationers.

To work further on your request, we need more information from you regarding your query. You are requesting for two pieces of data: the recidivism rate, and the number of probationers who have undergone successful probation. Is this correct? We need to clarify your request because successful probationers are not recidivists. I am requesting for a data on the reoffending percentage of those persons who have undergone probation. After they finished probation, what is the percentage that they commit another crime. the period can be from 2010 up to the present. thank you

Response to your request

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance this Office does not have such data or information. What the Agency has is the reoffending percentage of persons who violated the conditions of their probation during the supervision period.
