Good day,

I am a BS-Architecture student from Samar State University. I was redirected to this site for the purpose of requesting the Complete prisoner and inmates under parole and probation statistics of all the municipality and city jails/prisons in Region 8. Thus, I would like to ask for the details to supplement my thesis project.

Respectfully yours,
Devina

Dear Devina Marie Basierto,

Greetings!

Thank you for your request dated Sep 24, 2018 12:32:20 AM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

Your Request

You asked for Complete prison and inmates under parole and probation statistics of Region 8.

Response to Request

We deeply regret and apologize to have responded to your FOI request this late. Your FOI request came in at a time that we are not yet onboard the eFOI portal. Would you still need your request?

Should you still need the data, please be informed that we cannot provide "prisoner and inmates under parole and probation" statistics as inmates are under the jurisdiction of BJMP and BUCOR, while probationers are not inmates since they are not serving sentence in jail. Although currently, PPA does not yet have data on probationers / parolees specifically for Region 8, but we have the Profile of Clients which can be found in our website. Please click this link: https://probation.gov.ph/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/Clients-Profile-2021.pdf.

We are sorry for this inconvenience. Let us know if we can still be of assistance.
