Dear colleagues in the National Government,

We are gathering data on the LATEST number of LICENSED HEALTH PROFESSIONALS, also known as the Human Resources for Health, who are working in other government sectors outside of the health sector, regardless of their position.

In line with this, may we ask how many among your employees are licensed medical and allied health professionals by profession, regardless of their current position? Please disaggregate per profession.

Kindly let us know if your Department is able to tag employees if they are licensed health professionals or not.

Greetings!

Thank you for your request dated Aug 04, 2021 10:21:29 AM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

You asked, "REQUEST FOR THE NUMBER OF EMPLOYEES WHO ARE LICENSED HEALTH PROFESSIONALS WORKING IN YOUR DEPARTMENT."

We are sorry if we cannot provide you with this information because currently, PBS-RTVM does not have licensed health professionals working for the Agency.

PBS-RTVM is the lead broadcast arm of the incumbent President of the Philippines. The Agency is mostly involved in in television coverage and documentation, and news and public affairs syndication of all the activities of the President, either live or delayed telecast, by national or local, government or private collaborating networks.

Our employees are some of the most hardworking and professional public servants in the government. We are composed of media practitioners, communication officers, engineers, accountants, and HR experts. 

As of the moment, the Agency does not see the need to employ a medical professional in the office.

To add, PBS-RTVM is seriously catering to the needs of its employees amid the COVID-19 pandemic. This is through the Agency's Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Committee who leads in ensuring that the well-being of every personnel is attended to.
