Dear Ms. Ilacio:

This pertains to the request of Ms. Giselle Eve Siladan dated 30 May 2022 under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information (FOI) in the Executive Branch with Ticket No #TAPI-778276397120. 

In her eFOI request, she would like to seek data on the following that they will use for the CY2021 Region XII Development Report as requested by RDC XII: 
1.	Baseline Accomplishment (2019); 
2.	Accomplishment (2020); 
3.	Target and Accomplishment (2021); and 
4.	Target (2022);

She also mentioned that said data shall be based on: (1) total number of Filipino patents registered; (2) total number of Filipino utility model registered; (3) total number of Filipino industrial design registered; and (4) proportion of Regional Intellectual Property Expenditure by GRDP.

Upon checking, our Institute does not have the data being requested. We believe that her request might be best addressed by the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines (IPOPHL). Thus, we have forwarded her request to your good office for appropriate action. Attached is a copy of our letter to Ms. Siladan for your reference. We would also appreciate it if you could reply directly to Ms. Siladan, copy furnished our Office.
