Dear Jerric Mission,

Greetings!

Thank you for your request dated Oct 11, 2023 12:53:40 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

Your Request

You asked for REASON OF CLOSURE OF NAYONG PILIPINO CULTURAL PARK IN CLARK PAMPANGA.

Response to Request

Your FOI request is approved.

We appreciate your interest in the Nayong Pilipino Park, located in Clark, Pampanga, and for reaching out regarding its closure. To address your query, it was discovered that when the current management took over, the Memorandum of Agreement between the Nayong Pilipino Foundation (NPF) and Clark Development Corporation (CDC) had already expired and was not renewed. As a result, it led to the return of the lease area within the Clark Freeport Zone and subsequently resulted in the permanent closure of the NPF Park.

We hope this information answers your query. If you have any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.

Thank you very much.
