Dear Mr. Escobedo,

Thank you for your request dated 03 January 2024 under Executive Order No. 2, Series of 2016, on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

A real estate broker is a covered person under Republic Act No. 9160, otherwise known as the Anti-Money Laundering Act of 2001, as amended. As such, he/she is required to register with the AMLC’s electronic reporting system through the Online Registration System to be given access to the AMLC Portal where transaction reports are to be submitted.   

The requirements and procedure for the issuance of the Provisional Certificate of Registration (PCOR), or the requested “AMLA Certificate”, to real estate brokers are laid down in pages 9-12 of the AMLC Citizen’s Charter (Updated as of March 2023) accessible through this link: http://www.amlc.gov.ph/images/PDFs/PR2023/CART2023.pdf.
