The bank is requesting for a Certificate of Registration from the Anti-Money Laundering Council (AMLC) as part of its customer due diligence on a client covered person (i.e., the real estate broker or real estate developer) transacting with another covered person (i.e., the bank) under Republic Act No. 9160, otherwise known as the Anti-Money Laundering Act of 2001, as amended (AMLA).
