Hi! I would like to request for my LRN (Learner's Reference Number). I forgot my LRN and now I can't view my grades and it can affect my enrollment. I need the LRN (Learner's Reference Number) for my university requirement.

Thank you!

Dear Krystelle,

Greetings!

Thank you for your request dated Feb 01, 2024 04:36:39 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

Your Request

You asked for Request of Learner's Reference Number.

Pursuant to DepEd Order No. 22, s. 2012 dated March 20, 2012 (https://www.deped.gov.ph/wp-content/uploads/2012/03/DO_s2012_22.pdf), otherwise known as the Adoption of the Unique Learner Reference Number (p.1), please be informed that the Learner Reference Number (LRN) is a system-generated, permanent twelve (12)-digit number which the pupil, student or learner shall keep while completing the basic education program, regardless of transfer to another school or learning center in the public or private sector, and promotion/moving up to the secondary level.

Likewise, the LRN shall be incorporated in all documents, forms, examinations, surveys, and databases that refer to a pupil, student, or learner. In particular, the LRN shall be indicated in the pupil’s or student’s Permanent Record, (Form 137), Report Card (Form 138), ALS Certificate, Diploma or Portfolio, National Achievement Test.

Please be informed that the receiving school has the responsibility to register/update the learner’s record in the Learner Information System (LIS). In the absence of the LRN, the receiving school is instructed to register the child in the LIS (if qualified) so he/she can obtain his/her LRN.

For further assistance, you may directly coordinate with the school you attended or the Schools Division Office (SDO) near your area.
