In response to your request for pertinent information for a business plan on producing engineered bamboo floor planks, we are sending you parts of a brief report written by our researcher Ms. Carolyn Marie C. Garcia. We hope you find this useful.

Regarding  your other request for production figures re bamboo distillate, we are sorry but we do not yet have anything to share with you.

Production of Engineered Bamboo of Cardona Multi-Purpose Cooperative (CMPC)

CMPC can be considered as one of the more relatively progressive engineered bamboo producers in the small-scale category.  It is a beneficiary of DTI’s Share Service Facility (SSF) program and DOST’s SETUP.   


CMPC produces small engineered bamboo handicrafts such as plaques and souvenir items, bamboo floor planks and laminated bamboo lumber (LBL) and boards (LBB) on a per order basis.  Some production figures from CMPC were provided by Mr. Agui.
