We would like to know the following information or technology  for bamboo especially the following:
1, Varieties  good for fiber source and food (100gm-500gm wegth)
2. Production cost per unit area
3. Agronomic practices in plantation management
4. Harvest per unit area per unit time

Dear Nestor,

Our deepest apologies for this very late response to your FOI request. Our FOI system has encountered various technical difficulties these past few months which we were able to remedy only last week.

As this response comes many weeks after you made your request, we realize that it may no longer serve your purposes.

Just the same, we want to inform you that our office, DOST-FPRDI, is not the agency in-charge of information on BAMBOO PRODUCTION. The subject matter is within the mandate of the DENR- Ecosystems Research and Development Bureau. Please feel free to contact them in case you need their help.
