Good day. I would like to ask for the successful bidders of the postings for this:

https://www.pchrd.dost.gov.ph/calls_and_events/call-extended-pchrd-call-for-proposal-on-2022-2023-health-technology-assessment-hta-research-agenda-program/

and this one

https://www.pchrd.dost.gov.ph/calls_and_events/call-for-concept-proposals-2023-health-technology-assessment-hta-research-agenda-program/

We have not found anything that suggest whether there were already takers of the project. Thanks!

Dear Mr. Uy,

Thank you for your request dated August 31, 2023, under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch. You requested the information regarding the successful bidders for DOST-PCHRD projects under the Health Technology Assessment (HTA).

The Philippine Council for Health Research and Development (PCHRD), one of the sectoral councils of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST), is mandated to: (1) formulate policies, plans, programs, project, and strategies for health S&T development; (2) program and allocate government and external funds for research and development (R&D); (3) monitor R&D projects; and (4) generate external funds.

With regards to your inquiry, the Call for Proposal (CFP) is not a bidding process. The call for proposals is a research grant provided to successful researchers. As to the list of successful implementing agencies, we awarded the call to the University of the Philippines - Manila and the Foundation for Advancement of Clinical Epidemiology, Inc.

Kindly accomplish the DOST-PCHRD FOI Request Feedback Form at this link: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfMmMunhzF0c-LOOzzfZn3agWBcBbAAdYTqZAHJ4xcQ-TFyyg/viewform

Should you have any questions regarding your request, kindly contact using the reply function on the eFOI portal at this link: https://www.foi.gov.ph/requests/aglzfmVmb2ktcGhyHwsSB0NvbnRlbnQiElBDSFJELTAxNTk1MDI1MTA1Nww, with ticket number #PCHRD-015950251057.

Thank you.

Respectfully,

Alec Benjamin M. Gonzales

Thank you for this information.

However, in order to be more specific, since the call for proposals was over 30 or 40 topics, what are the topics awarded to UP?

Are they the sole institution given the grant?
