Hi! I would like to request for the following:

1. List of biomedical research facilities in the Philippines
2. List of virology research laboratories in the Philippines (if available)

Greetings!

Thank you for your request dated Dec 12, 2020 under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

You requested for the list of biomedical research facilities and virology research laboratories in the Philippines.

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance PCHRD does not have the list of biomedical research facilities in the Philippines. There are different biomedical research facilities in the country depending on the specialization, below are some of them:

Relevant to the second question, PCHRD does not have the complete list of virology research laboratory across the country. However, may we suggest you to coordinate with the Research Institute for Tropical Medicine (RITM) as they might have a list of local virology laboratories they have collaborated with? You may contact them via email at info@ritm.gov.ph telephone number: (02) 8807-2631/ 8807-2632/ 8807-2637.
