Greetings! 

I am Charlene Cruz, a student, who is exploring the topic of diabetic nephropathy for a research project.  My exploration paper aims to clarify the possibility of obtaining yearly transition probability with real field data set of diabetic patients developing chronic kidney disease in the Philippines

I would like to request your good office the incidence and prevalence of patients with diabetes and patients with chronic kidney disease, as well as the rate of diabetic nephropathy for the past 2 decades. I hope you can help me with this. Thank you!

You are requesting the incidence and prevalence of patients with diabetes, patients with chronic disease, and rate of diabetic nephropathy for the past two decades. 

The Philippine Council for Health Research and Development (PCHRD), a sectoral council under the Department of Science and Technology (DOST), is mandated to: (1) formulate policies, plans, programs, projects, and strategies for health S&T development; (2) program and allocate government and external funds for research and development (R&D); (3) monitor R&D projects; and (4) generate external funds.

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, we regret that our office does not have the information  you have requested. However, we referred your request to the Department of Health (DOH). You may also wish to request the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) at https://www.foi.gov.ph.
