I refer to my letter of July 05, 2018 05:29:27 pm; about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for Joint Venture Agreement between Philippine Tourism Authority and Manila Water Company, Inc..

This is to inform you that we are extending the deadline for responding to your FOI request because it requires further communication with the parties in the Concession Agreement and Joint Venture Agreement since the said agreements contain confidentiality clauses.

Please be informed that we are furnishing you with a copy of the Concession Agreement (C.A.) between the Philippine Tourism Authority, now Tourism Infrastructure and Enterprise Zone Authority, and the Manila Water Company Inc. as response to your FOI request with tracking number #TIEZA-‎527689766628. Please note, however, that in observance with the Confidentiality clause of the C.A., the parties decided to redact parts that are not related to the purpose of the FOI request which is to “ascertain the responsibilities of the parties regarding the clean-up of Boracay”.
