Greetings!
RA 9593 or the Tourism Act of 2009, as amended by RA 11262, includes recreational centers as one of the facilities, services, and attractions involved in tourism.
Under the Guidelines for the Designation and Supervision of Tourism Enterprise Zone and the Administration of the Incentives under RA 9593, General Leisure Tourism Zone is an area that may offer recreational facilities that will have high visitor density, such as but not limited to Golf Parks/Resorts, Theme Park and Amusement Centers/Resorts, Department Stores/Restaurants/Shops, and Zoos.
Thus, recreational camps may be located within a designated General Leisure Tourism Zone.
