Your Request

You asked for Days to process COP for online application.

Response to Request

Your FOI request is approved. Relative thereto, it is respectfully informed that the MARINA through the Certification Division, STCW Office is implementing online processing of STCW Certificates through the MARINA Integrated Seafarers Management Online (MISMO) System which could be filed on a regular or expedite process. Through this procedure, all applications received are subjected to evaluation. For the regular process, the standard processing time shall be three (3) working days upon submission of complete minimum mandatory requirements. Any delays would depend on the quality, the completeness of the uploaded/submitted documents, the volume of the application received through the MISMO System, and how long the applicant-seafarer will pay/settle the corresponding fees. For the expedite process, the seafarer shall coordinate with his/her local manning agency/company for endorsement to MARINA under the online expedite processing. The COP application will be received and processed within the day subject to the submission of complete documentary requirements. Information from the Executive Director, STCW Office.
