This is in relation to my request at the eFOI portal on April 28, 2023 with the title “Information of Existing Water Treatment Plants along Laguna de Bay” and Tracking Number #MWSSCO-323098860028.
I am currently part of a team working on evaluating the performance of the Putatan Water Treatment Plant being operated by Maynilad Water Services, Inc. (MWSI) , and so in relation to this I would like to kindly request information on the Water Treatment Plants that abstract raw water from Laguna de Bay, including the following information.
a. Name of operator
b. Location
c. Production capacity
d. Treatment technologies used
e. Quality of intake water (requesting for all parameters that are being collected)
The information will allow us to benchmark the Putatan Water Treatment Plant with other water treatment plants that receive water from Laguna de Bay, which will greatly help our assessment and evaluation.

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance this Office does not have the information you have requested. However, your request was endorsed to Maynilad Water Services, Inc with Reference Letter # MWSS-DAE-O-23-565 and Manila Water Company, Inc. with Reference Letter # MWSS-DAE-O-23-564 on 26 May 2023. We also sent a letter to you on 26 May 2023 with Letter Reference # MWSS-DAE-O-23-565 informing you that your request was forwarded to our concessionaires.
