Good day!

Dear Mr. Sanchez:

This letter is in connection with your requested information on statistics regarding online piracy in the Philippines which we received through the eFOI portal.

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance, the IPOPHL has not conducted a study on piracy and thus, we do not have the information you requested. Studies as such are usually conducted by specific sectors, such as the Business Software Alliance (BSA), an advocate for the global software industry, and these studies cover only those copyrighted works on computer software and programs.

Sincerely,

NELSON P. LALUCES
Deputy Director General
