We refer to you letter of Jul 23, 2019 01:55:04 PM requesting, under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for a List of Local and Foreign Travels of IPO DG Josephine Santiago and her son Mr. Senando Angelo Santiago.

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance, we are unable to provide the information you requested.

Section 7 of E.O. 2 series of 2016 will only allow disclosure of personal information under certain conditions. If the intention is to harass an employee, or only to satisfy a person’s curiosity, there is no obligation for IPOPHL to make such disclosure. Moreover, even if the intention is for a legal purpose but exposes the privacy of a person, disclosure is proscribed.
