This letter is in connection with your query regarding seminars offered by IPOPHL for Agricultural Engineering which we received through the eFOI portal on February 20, 2020.
Thank you for your interest in the seminars that the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines (IPOPHL) conducts.
Please note that IPOPHL offers a series of seminars on the following: Patent, Utility Model, Industrial Design, Trademark, Copyright, and an Introduction to Patent Search and Drafting free of charge every month beginning February until November 2020 at the IPOPHL Headquarters in Taguig City. The series of seminars, dubbed as LEAP IP or Learn, be Empowered, Adopt, and Profit from your intellectual property, is open to the general public. The schedule is posted on the IPOPHL website: www.ipophil.gov.ph. Pre-registration is required.
Should your organization/institution have specific requirements, please write a letter of request addressed to the undersigned Director of the Innovation Bureau, Atty. Mary Grace Cruz-Yap, with the following details:
a) Topics to be discussed;
b) Demographics and Number of participants – min. 40pax;
c) Date and Venue;
d) Meals and Transportation arrangements; and
e) Contact person
Please note that request should be done at least two months prior to the target date of the seminar so that IPOPHL may be able to accommodate your request, subject to availability of resource persons.
Note, however, that due to COVID-19, all seminars are suspended until further notice.
