Greetings!
Thank you for your request dated Oct 28, 2019 12:08:56 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.
Your Request
You asked for PBS rehabilitation plan:
1. PBS Stations Rehabilitation Plan and Timeline of the project.
Two (2) stations are currently off-air and will be revived in the first quarter of 2020. There are plans to transfer other operational equipment from sister stations awaiting the availability of fund for upgrading.
2. Plan to revived and rehabilitate DYCT Radyo Pilipinas 102.3 MHz.
The Bureau has no plan to revived DYCT Radyo Pilipinas Tacloban being an emergency station established purposely to provide broadcast facilities/services immediately to the areas affected by typhoon Yolanda. Currently, the said station is now under the Department of Agriculture (DA) as an affiliate station, however due to stalled procurement process in the DA, the airing of DYCT is put on hold.
3. Other areas that plan to install new stations.
There are plan to install other new stations, however we are still in the planning stage and as a matter of strategy, we can not divulged the details of the plan.
