You asked for Development Plan.
Response to Request
On July 25, 1987, then President Corazon Aquino reorganized the Office of the Press Secretary and PBS/BBS was given a specific mandate: the Bureau of Broadcast Services shall be responsible for providing broadcast information on the activities, policies, and directions of the government and Presidency, through the use of broadcast media throughout the country.
Under the administration of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte, PBS/BBS continues to actively serve the information requirements of the Pro-People Agenda of the Presidency and the entire government. At the same time, it was upgraded to make it financially feasible and dependable for accurate, independent, and enlightening news and commentary, acting as a progressive bridge between the government and the people on policies and services.
At present, the PBS/BBS networking includes 32 radio stations located in key provinces and cities all over the country, reaching more than 50% of the nation's entire population, and operating at an average of 16 hours a day, from 5 AM to 12 midnight, Mondays to Sundays for the whole calendar year.
