Good day!

I would like to request for following:

1. Uncontrolled/Natural Daily Outflow of Lanao Lake from 2010-2015
2. Coordinates of the station where the data is collected

I have previously requested the coordinates before but there were 2 sets of coordinates supplied by your good office. I want to clarify which one is for the outflow unaffected by the dam operations if possible.

Rest assured these will be cited properly and will be used for research and hydrological modelling only.

Greetings!

Thank you for your request dated Jan 03, 2024 09:40:49 AM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

Your request

You asked for Uncontrolled Daily Outflow of Lanao Lake from 2010 to 2015.

Response to your request

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance this Office does not have the information you have requested. Please be informed that the management of the utilization of Lake Lanao for the optimization of Agus HE Plants operations are all controlled by Marawi Lake Regulation Dam (MLRD) and Agus 1 HEP Power Channel Intake. Hence, NPC Mindanao Generation have no uncontrolled/natural daily outflow. However, we are implementing the minimum 10 CMS for Riparian in compliance to DENR requirements.  Consequently, we don’t have the coordinates for instruments of uncontrolled/natural daily outflow.

May this clarify matters regarding the above-subject request.
