November 13, 2023 Dear Jean, Greetings! Thank you for your request dated Jul 24, 2023 under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch. Your request You asked for Basis for the suspension of issuance of Postal ID. Response to your request We were able to determine that this particular information is not a valid FOI request as the same refers to our front line service which should be addressed to and could be best answered by our customer service. Kindly wait for the announcement as to when we will be resuming said service. To answer this query however, please be informed that the suspension of the issuance of postal ID was brought about by the expiration of the contract with the service provider. For customer service requests, you may send an email to phlpostcares@phlpost.gov.ph.
