November 13, 2023 Dear Josee Marie, Greetings! Thank you for your request dated Jul 27, 2023 under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch. Your request You asked for Refund for Stale (Expired) Postal Money Order. Response to your request We were able to determine that this particular information is not a valid FOI request as the same is not a request for a document, but is more of a customer service or front line service request which should be addressed to and could be best answered by our customer service. For this concern however, you will need to send a letter request to our postal payment delivery division attaching the check for replacement and copy of the O.R. for the payment of the replacement fee (replacement fee is ₱30.00 per check), which you can pay at your local post office. In your letter, you may request that the checks be in your name so that you may encash it later. Mail your letter request, the stale checks for replacement and copy of O.R. to: The Chief Postal Payment Delivery Division Philippine Postal Corporation Central Mail Exchange Center Old Domestic Airport Pasay City. Your right to request a review If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to PHLPost Central Appeals and Review Committee. You may address the same to: The Postmaster General & CEO Philippine Postal Corporation 3F Manila Post Office Bldg. Liwasang Bonifacio, Magallanes Drive 1000 Manila City, Metro Manila Email – pmg@phlpost.gov.ph Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter. We will complete the review and tell you the result within 30 calendar days from the date when we receive your review request. If you are not satisfied with the result of the review, you then have the right to appeal further to the Office of the Board of Directors of PHLPost, whose decision is appealable to the Office of the President under Administrative Order No. 22 (s. 2011). Thank you. Respectfully, Atty. Mark Joseph Abelardo FOI Receiving Officer
