My name is Homer, of IT Division from Department of Tourism.
We are working on an Online System for the business establishments and frontlines.
We would like to ask for help where can we get a copy of database of zip codes, regions, cities, and provices?
We are using MySql RDBMS.

Dear Homer,

Thank you for your request dated Oct 16, 2018 12:12:34 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for updated and complete zip code database with regions, cities, and provinces..

We received your request on Oct 16, 2018 12:12:34 PM and will respond on or before Nov 06, 2018 12:12:34 PM, in accordance with the Executive Order's implementing rules and regulations.

However, we may not be able to give a copy of the database in that SQL format. Maybe the most that could be given is an excel file thereof.

Your Request: You asked for updated and complete zip code database with regions, cities, and provinces.

Response to Request: Your FOI request is approved but the database of the updated and complete zip code of the Philippines is in Excel file. Enclose is the digital file of the information you requested.

Your right to request a review: If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to pmg@phlpost.gov.ph. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter. We will complete the review and tell you the result within 30 calendar days from the date when we receive your review request.

If you are not satisfied with the result of the review, you then have the right to appeal to the Office of the President under Administrative Order No. 22 (s. 2011).
