Dear Ma'am/ Sir;
 
             Good day! I am a Jimboy P. Dinoy,I am an applicant of the First Cycle Attrition 2022 but my height is 156.5 cm and does not meet the qualification standard set by the PNP. I would like to request for a NAPOLCOM height waiver use for PNP application. I am currently applying for Patrolman here in PRO7. Hoping and praying that you could be able to help me on how to get an height waiver.

Your Request

You asked for Height Waiver Request.

Response to Request

Please note that we are only able to provide some of the information you have requested for as this is not the proper forum to request for age/height waiver.

Please be informed that under Sections 30-32 of Republic Act No. 6975 as amended by Section 14 of Republic Act No. 8551 “No person shall be appointed as officer or member of the PNP unless he possesses the following minimum qualifications.” 

xxx Must not be less than twenty-one (21) nor more than thirty (30) years of age.xxx

Further, pursuant to NAPOLCOM Memorandum Circular No. 2013-004 dated May 21, 2013, “The age requirement for initial appointment to the PNP may be waived only when the number of qualified applicants falls below the approved national/regional quota. Waiver of the age requirement may be granted provided that the applicant shall not be less than twenty (20) or not more than thirty-five (35) years of age.” 

Waiver of the height requirement may be granted to a male applicant who is at least 1 meter and 57 cm (1.57m) and to a female applicant who is at least 1 meter and 52 cm (1.52m): Provided, that the minimum height requirement for applicants who belong to indigenous group duly certified by the National Commission on Muslim Filipinos (NCMF), or the National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP) shall be 1.52m for male and 1.45m for female. Provided further, that the Commission shall require said applicants to submit appropriate proof of their membership in a certain indigenous group. 

The following factors are being considered for the grant of waiver to applicants:
	Possession of special skills in evidence gathering and safekeeping, cybercrime investigation, detection and prevention, crime scene investigation, martial arts, marksmanship and similar skills;
	Special talents in the field of sports, music or arts and culture;
	Extensive experience or training in forensic science and other legal, medical and technical services; and
	Outstanding academic records and extracurricular activities of applicants during his/her school days, good family background in law enforcement or socio-civic activities, recognized social standing in the community, awards and commendations received, which should indicate to the Commission En Banc that the applicant can become a good member of the Philippine National Police.

If you possessed the aforementioned factors, you may submit the following documentary requirements to recruiting unit where you processed your application:
	a. Completely Filled-out CSC Personal Data Sheet;
	b. Original PSA Birth Certificate;
	c. Authenticated Copy of Eligibility
	d. Authenticated Copy of TOR/DIPLOMA; and
	e. Original/Authenticated Copy of Certificates (skills, talents, etc.)

Your right to request a review
