Dear Quintanar, Kris,

Greetings!

Thank you for your request dated Nov 13, 2023 02:27:05 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

Your Request

You asked for Mangrove Research Center.

Response to Request

We acknowledge the receipt of your letter dated November 13, 2022, inquiring about the possible spaces required for a Mangrove Research Center. Your dedication to exploring this ecologically significant project as part of your architecture thesis is commendable, and we appreciate your interest in seeking guidance from our office.

While our current resources lack specific guidelines on space requirements for a Mangrove Research Center, we can share insights from our experience with a former mangrove research center in Pagbilao, Quezon. This center, occupying an approximate total area of 1,300 sqm, featured a water and soil laboratory along with office facilities.

We appreciate your consideration of our office as a valuable resource for your research and look forward to contributing to the success of your architectural endeavors.

If you are not satisfied with the result of the review, you then have the right to appeal to the Office of the President under Administrative Order No. 22 (s. 2011).

We would also like to request for a little bit of your time to kindly fill up the survey form containing some questions about our performance in handling your request.

Thank you.
