1.  List of Bamboo Companion Plants
2.  Data includes:
- scientific name
- vernacular name
- soil-type conditions/suitability
- sun/shade conditions
- amount of water needed
- other guidelines about growing requirements

Your Request

You asked for Bamboo Companion Plants.

Response to Request

We would like to inform you that short- term crops such as vegetables, root crops is possible in bamboo at the early stage. Once the plantation has reached the fifth year, production will decrease due to the development of canopy. 

For specific list of crops for intercropping, you may contact the Department of Agriculture for a more detailed information.
