February 17, 2023 Dear Ms. Bernadette Anne Franco, Greetings! Thank you for your request dated February 8, 2023 under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch. Your request: You asked for Statistics on Palay Farmers Population. Response to your request While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance our Socioeconomics Office sent you a separate email informing that unfortunately they do not have any data available regarding the number of rice farmers by region. However, you may wish to contact the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) or visit the PSAs OpenStat website at: https://openstat.psa.gov.ph/Database/Agriculture-Forestry-Fisheries. You may also visit our information system, PalayStat System, for your other rice-related data needs: palaystat.philrice.gov.ph For further assistance you may review the FAQ section of the eFOI site.
