I am Arlo Jayson Sabuito from the Philippine Space Agency (PhilSA). We are currently researching delineating other crop areas by creating models and algorithms. With this, may we request the following data from your good office:

1. Shapefiles of Corn Areas over Isabela City from 2021 to 2022

You asked for Corn Maps of Isabela for multiple cropping periods (shapefile).

Response to your request

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance this Office does not have  the information you have requested. However, you may wish to contact or refer with the Bureau of Plant Industry (BPI) for other crops like corn.  You may also wish to contact the Dept. of Agriculture -Bureau of Agricultural and Fisheries Engineering (DA-BAFE) for agricultural maps.  or resubmit your request addressed to the correct agency on the eFOI portal at www.da.gov.ph

Your right to request a review

If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to Guadalupe C. Miranda with email address: gcmiranda@exchange.philrice.gov.ph .
