Hello,
I am researching machine learning algorithms to segment and delineate rice paddies from satellite images.
I am interested in the Philippines, especially the Pangasinan region. I read on the PRiSM website that ground data has been used to delineate rice areas.
If this data has polygons delineating rice paddies areas, it would be very beneficial for me to access it.

Your FOI request is approved.
We appreciate your interest of seeking your required data from us and would like to extend our apologies for the delayed response. We experienced a prolonged holiday period here in the Philippines, which temporarily impacted our ability to respond promptly.
Regarding the Mapscape rice software, it is a customized licensed software developed by Sarmap SA. Yearly, we are renewing this software with them, as they have been a steadfast partner since our inception. This software serves as the platform through which we input all SAR satellite images, enabling us to efficiently process and generate the rice area and planting dates.
Please take note that our image resolution stands at 20 x 20, and to give you a better understanding of our capabilities, we have included a sample output for your reference. The rice area image has been sent to your email by our PRISM expert. kindly check your email.
