About this agency

The Science and Technology Information Institute (STII), one of the service institutes of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) is located inside the DOST Complex, General Santos Avenue, Bicutan, Taguig City. STII was created as the information and marketing arm of the DOST by virtue of Executive Order No. 128 (30 January 1987) which reorganized the National Science and Technology Authority (NSTA), now the DOST. The institute has the responsibility to implement the following mandates. To establish a science and technology databank and library.To disseminate science and technology information.
